Hugo Scheider's 1970 catalog of the pewter holdings in the Swiss National Museum describes and illustrates 1327 pewter objects, categorized by form.  It remains an indespensible reference tool for identifying continental European pewter forms and marks.   The text is in German, but the terrific pictures tell 90% of the story!  Excellent, used condition.  396 pp., hardbound.
